Devices Used: myTAP and TAP 1

The results of this study by the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) show myTAP is now proven equally effective as custom TAP. This is the first randomized controlled trial (RCT) comparing a non-custom to a custom oral appliance. Previous studies around traditional “boil-and-bite” appliances compared unlike designs and were less effective than custom-made oral medical devices.
